Batu Bara Regent Attends Farewell and Welcome Ceremony for the Commander of the Indonesian Navy Base (Lanal) Tanjung Balai Asahan

BATU BARA, SDICTV.ID – Demonstrating the Batu Bara Regency Government's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Indonesian Navy, Batu Bara Regent Dr. H. Baharuddin Siagian, S.H., M.Si., C.L.A., attended the farewell and welcome ceremony for the Commander of the Indonesian Navy Base (Lanal) Tanjung Balai Asahan, held at the Official Residence Hall of the Asahan Regent on Friday (July 10, 2026).

During the ceremony, the command of Lanal Tanjung Balai Asahan was officially transferred from Lieutenant Colonel (Navy) Agung Dwi H.D., M.Tr.Opsla., CTMP. to Lieutenant Colonel (Navy) Sigit Ryanto, CTMP., CRMP., M.Tr.Opsla.

The Batu Bara Regent's attendance reflected the regional government's commitment to enhancing strategic cooperation with the Indonesian Navy, particularly in supporting coastal security, maintaining maritime order, and promoting sustainable regional development.

Accompanying the Regent were the Acting Regional Secretary of Batu Bara Regency, the Assistant for General Administration, the Head of the Transportation Office, the Regional Inspector, the Acting Head of the Housing, Settlement and Environment Office, the Head of the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), the Head of the Government Administration Division, and the Head of the Protocol and Leadership Communication Division.

On the occasion, Asahan Regent Taufik Zainal Abidin Siregar, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the dedication and outstanding service of Lieutenant Colonel Agung Dwi H.D. during his tenure as Commander of Lanal Tanjung Balai Asahan. He wished him success in his new assignment and prayed for his continued health, safety, and achievements in carrying out his future responsibilities.

Regent Taufik also welcomed Lieutenant Colonel Sigit Ryanto as the new Commander of Lanal Tanjung Balai Asahan. He expressed confidence that the new leadership would further strengthen cooperation between the Indonesian Navy and local governments in maintaining regional security, safeguarding Indonesia's coastal waters, and supporting development throughout the coastal areas.

The event highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between the Indonesian Navy and regional governments in fostering security, stability, and sustainable development for communities in the coastal region.
